The Tettnang estate is still defined today as an almost exclusive, pure aromatic hop area. Tettnanger and Hallertauer are so called pedigrees (no crosses) and are classified as superior aromatic. Approx. 80 - 85% of the Tettnang hops are exported and approx. 15-20% goes to the German market.
